What is Microsoft Dynamics NAV?

Dynamics NAV is an enterprise resource planning (ERP) app that assists with finance, manufacturing, customer relationship management (CRM), supply chains, analytics, and e-commerce for small and medium-sized companies and local subsidiaries of large international groups. Even though some older versions are no longer supported by Microsoft and the name has been rebranded to Business Central, because of the vast expandability of the software, some business still use the old version, and The Dev Loop team is ready to support our partners with any version of this program.

Update to Business Central

Business central is the new name of the ERP created by Microsoft, it follows a similar logic to Dynamics NAV but it is quite different from the old app.

Is the upgrade to Dynamics 365 Business Central required?

This is not mandatory and Microsoft will not issue an ultimatum in respect to upgrading your Navision (Dynamics NAV) software.
